Neek Luum

Welcome to Neek Luum, a hidden gem in the stunning Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Yucatán is often considered one of the best places to live in Mexico due to its high safety standards, charming colonial architecture, affordable cost of living, delicious local cuisine, beautiful natural landscapes including cenotes, a laid-back lifestyle, and a generally pleasant tropical climate, while temperatures from April to June can be quite warm, our region boasts more than 300 days of sunshine yearly. Water is sourced from one of the world's most unique and plentiful aquifers. The rich, red soil and limestone bedrock, combined with a unique blend of black soil, create an ideal environment for thriving, lush plant growth. Interestingly, Saharan dust from the North African Sahara Desert travels across the Atlantic, settling in the Caribbean/Yucatan region and enriching the area with nutrients, contributing to our diverse and abundant ecosystem.
